Zines

Okay, I really, really do need to get back into making them. I want to continue Darling Disasters on. I do want her to be more of a lit zine than a per zine, but if it switches that's okay. The first issue was so amazing and from the few people who ordered it, I've heard good things about it.

I started zines when I was 13. I have never held on to a hobby quite that long. Except maybe the plaster ornament painting, but that doesn't count. Zines have always been a refuge for me and I need refuge more than anything right now.

I have a few things prepared for DD #2, but not much.

So, I've got to force myself to spend less time on the computer and more time creating. I need to worry less about making everything all pretty and computerized and hand draw things more. I really need to make it all raw like I had orignally intended with Darling Disasters.

Plus, I still need to finish reading the stack of zines I've already got to read. Plus I've gotten a few in the mail since being here.
